The Ultimate Sunnies Face Edit: 12 Best Products
I raided Sunnies Face HQ in Manila—here’s what’s actually worth the hype from the Filipino makeup brand.
While I was in Manila, Sunnies Face invited me to their headquarters and let me “Supermarket Sweep” my way through their collection. Their gifting suite was like a dream, with samples galore to swatch to my heart’s desire and multiple shades for the taking. As a longtime fan of the brand since my beauty editor days, I felt really lucky because, once upon a time, Sunnies Face was only accessible if you begged a family member visiting the Philippines to bring it back to the States. Now, it’s available internationally (I covered the U.S. expansion for ELLE back in 2022), and their hero product, Fluffmatte, has even been spotted on celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter and Lucy Hale.

Sunnies Face was founded in 2018 by Georgina Wilson, Jess Wilson, Martine Cajucom-Hom, Bea Soriano-Dee and Eric Dee Jr. (Georgina and Jess are sisters, Martine is their cousin, Bea and Eric are married–they’re all entrepreneurs and/or models and widely followed “It Girls”). It has since become a cult-favorite brand and, by far, the most popular Filipino makeup line abroad. I think what makes them stand out is their expert world-building: There’s a strong, dreamy visual identity that pulls you in. It’s playful yet polished, inclusive yet aspirational, trendy but also innovative. Sunnies Face could easily compete with Summer Fridays or Glossier and similarly achieves that elusive, “effortless” makeup look.

I came home with a pretty hefty haul of Sunnies favorites and newer launches. Ahead, I’m sharing the 12 best Sunnies Face products, as someone who’s tried pretty much every single product in the line.
Fluffmatte
Of course, we have to begin with the lipstick that started it all. I’ve yet to find another bullet matte lipstick that is non-drying and as smooth on the lips as Fluffmatte. It gives you that satisfying one-swipe color payoff. The bullet shape is precise, so I don’t find the need for a lip liner. My favorite shade is, of course, “Major,” a classic, morena-friendly red. For more of an everyday lip, I like “Milkshake” and “Girl Crush.”
Glow On
Highlighter is the one makeup step I’ll most likely skip, but since getting introduced to this liquid luminizer at Sunnies HQ, I’ve been hooked. It blends beautifully, allowing your skin to catch the light in all the right places, without any chalkiness or excessive glitter (my pet peeve!). My shade is “Stellar,” a cool-toned champagne that complements my deep tan skin.
Airblush
A little goes a long way with this unique cream-to-powder blush. Whether applied with your hands or a fluffy brush, it offers a diffused, soft finish that melts into skin. It’s highly pigmented, but buildable, so you can go as sheer or intense as you’d like (and really can’t mess it up)! My shades are “Girl Crush,” a deep rose, and “Moon,” a warm-toned clay. Sunnies also has the Healthy Touch Blush Duo, a powder, and Blush On, a liquid blush, but Airblush remains my favorite creation of theirs for cheeks.
Lip Dip
I’m a liquid lip lover, and Lip Dip has the most unique formula I’ve encountered. It has an almost mousse-like quality that doesn’t go on as stark or unforgiving as other liquid formulas on the market. Plus, it helps fill in the lines of your lips for a plumping finish. I find the formula doubles as a stain that lasts a long time, too. It has some shades you’d recognize from Fluffmatte–I like “Femmebot.”
The Perfector
As someone with oily skin, I tend to get unwanted shine on my T-Zone throughout the day. The Perfector is the ideal throw-in-your-purse touch-up tool thanks to its blurring balm. It’s like swiping on the Instagram “Paris” filter IRL. There are two sides to the stick, with the other side a balm that has a dewy finish–great for applying on the high points of your face for a more natural-looking highlight.
Fluffbalm
This is a newer launch from Sunnies Face that reminds me a lot of Violette_FR’s Bisou Balm. It has a satisfying, buttery slip as you apply it and gives that same blurred, blotted finish on the lips that’s really sexy. Think: “Movie Lips” made easy. My favorite shade is “Perfect Pink.”
Easyline
I’ve waxed poetic about this liquid liner in a previous post, and my stance remains: This is one of the best liquid liners I’ve ever used. It has the perfect, deep inky black and the skinniest marker head that lets you trace however thick or thin you want your cat eye. Plus, it doesn’t smudge!
Lip Treat
This is hands down my favorite tinted lip balm. As someone who loves a glossy lip finish, this nourishing formula, boosted with collagen and shea butter, adds the perfect sheer wash of color. I need a lifetime supply of “Sakura,” please!
Lash Seeker
I think it’s criminal that this mascara isn’t available on the U.S. site because it is SO GOOD. As someone with the tiniest baby lashes, I’m beyond impressed with the way this skinny wand grabs onto every lash and adds length. According to the brand, this clump-proof, smudge-proof mascara was “made specifically with Asian eyes in mind.” Bravo!
Face Erase
I’m pretty loyal to my Bioderma micellar water, but Face Erase is a very close second. The bi-phase formula contains both micellar water and oil (make sure to shake it!) to remove even the toughest waterproof liner or longwear lipstick. It gets everything off–just make sure to follow with a proper facial cleanser!
Skin So Good The MultiStick
Most days, I don’t wear foundation. This MultiStick is genius because it gives you a lot of control over your coverage. I use it like a concealer over any dark spots or redness, and it seamlessly evens out my skin without the heaviness of a full-coverage product. Since it’s multipurpose, you can also use the lighter or deeper shades for highlighting and contouring. My shade match is “Cashew.”
Sunsafe
I’m picky when it comes to sunscreen–typically preferring mineral formulas since I have such acne-prone skin. However, I’ve made an exception for Sunsafe. This SPF 50 is a serum gel that goes on completely clear–no white cast! It’s lightweight, hydrating, and wears well under makeup. It has a dewy finish that makes skin look refreshed.
Those are my favorites–you can also watch an IG Reel of my Sunnies haul here. I would love to hear which products you’ve tried and loved in the comments!
